Sammelo is a coffee shop chain in Turkey. The brand was established in 2023 and has expanded to three stores within a year and a half (2 of them are under the construction). It has also signed agreements for four new franchises, including one in UAE.
The success of the brand has been greatly influenced by the branding analyses and designs we created for it.
SAMMELO
First, we conducted research for two months to understand the area and the potential customers.
We started crafting the brand's identity in alignment with the personas and insights established in the previous stage.
Then, we defined the personas and site conditions to develop the brand.
At the last stage, all components were refined and completed according to the feedback and improvements.
BRANDING PROCESS
In this phase, we brought the project to life using the 4D design methodology.
BRAND IDENTITY
"Sammelo," derived from the German word "Sammel," which means "collective" or "whole,"
carries the meaning of collection or gathering.
The name of the brand draws inspiration from the key concepts it embraces: "gathering",
"sincerity", "happiness" and "togetherness".
Our main focus is to make these concepts felt by customers within the brand experience.

Logo Structure
Each point represents one of the five user personas we've identified.
Each persona has unique characteristics and habits, and the abstract formations of these inputs have been maintained in the form of nodes.
These nodes are ultimately merged in the final stage to emphasize the idea of gathering and coming together around the same table.
