A. Olives is a brand that has elevated a 70-year-old family tradition to the level of operating two factories with an annual production capacity of 10 million products. It is the first olive brand in Turkey to receive a geographical indication certificate approved by the European Union. Today, the brand produces black olives, green olives, refined olives, and olive oil, and it targets three distinct audiences in both the Turkey market and Europe market.
In light of these parameters, a rebranding process has been designed to refresh the brand over the next two years without alienating the existing audience.
A. OLIVES
First, we conducted research for 6 months to understand the countries, actual customers and the potential customers.
We started crafting the brand's identity in alignment with the personas and insights established in the previous stage.
Then, we defined the personas and site conditions to develop the brand.
At the last stage, all components were refined and completed according to the feedback and improvements.
BRANDING PROCESS
In this phase, we brought the project to life using the 4D design methodology.
BRAND IDENTITY
Logo Structure
First, we focused on the letter "A," which constitutes half of the brand name.We designed 50 different variations of the letter "A" and developed a form that subtly abstracts the concept of the olive in the subconscious.
Next, we replaced the other "A" with the same designed version.
The letters "L" and "N" have been modified to harmonize with the "A," featuring softened sharp edges.
Finally, it was placed on an olive branch icon that will lead the brand's two-year transformation.
